Black Currants

Our friend Connie stopped by this afternoon to return the steam-powered Nokia phone that I loaned her for a trip to Ireland. She likes Belgian beer, so I opened a bottle of Lindemans cassis lambic and we drank it with the last of the Mallard black currant ice I bought last night. I poured a little beer over the ice -- it was delicious.

I wish I remembered where I bought the Lindemans. You can buy the apple, peach, and raspberry flavors in most large grocery stores, but the black currant and cherry are hard to find.
