A new day
My cone flowers are still blooming and pretty as ever. They attract all sorts of insects and I caught this little guy admiring the flowers today.
I want to thank everyone for their supportive comments yesterday. It's so amazing to have the support of individuals that I've never met and yet somehow we have established a support system and friendships through our common love of photography and luck of finding this website. Wow!
I am doing much better today. As they say things always get worse before they get better...and that's how today went. Things got worse, much worse and then they got better. I had the opportunity to discuss these Board issues we were having with another Board member. We were able to discuss better ways to work on communication and dealing with other Board members in particular so that we can be as productive as ever. It's taking some adjusting to as this is NOT the Board it has been in the past. New faces and old ones that continue to make waves but we are figuring out how to adjust and make it work so we can keep doing what we love to do most, help the schools and the kids. Things feel better now..not to say there wont be more conflict or bumps down the road but I think we can handle it now that the lines of communication are wide open. Ahhh...deep breath now.
We're heading out this evening for a couple days away, most likely with no internet or cell reception. I look foward to catching up on all your blips when I return. Next week is a busy week...getting ready for back to school and both Jack and Carter have their birthdays. Lots to do and plenty of photo's to take ;)
