First Practice

Tonight was Carter's first soccer practice of the season. I wanted to snap a few photo's before he left but as you can tell he wasnt so thrilled and gave me the serious player look instead of my sweet adorable boy player look. Oh well. He was pretty excited for his first practice and we are HOPING that this year he does NOT do any of his odd Power Ranger or Ninja moves on the soccer field. That was a bit embarassing last year.....to say the least. Sigh...

It's been a busy last couple weeks and full of emotional highs and lows. Not much time for blipping lately. For some reason I'm really struggling with some moms I work closely with at school on our PTA Board. It's making things really difficult and causing me to question if this is right for me this year. I love my volunteering and my role on the Board but I'm pretty sure I'm not suppose to be in tears everyday over bitchy woman and their antics. I guess I have some thinking to do. We are leaving town this weekend for a nice family camping trip to a location I really enjoy. Hopefully I can set my mind at ease and enjoy our time away. Maybe I'lll come back refreshed and ready to take on the world again ;)
