Ronas Hill

The highest point of Shetland at 450 metres above sea level. A pretty inhospitable land to the North, but quite easy walking on the hill. Magnificent views to the coastline of North Roe.

We were supposed to go to Skerries today, but never booked the flight, waiting to see what the weather was doing. Unfortunately the other eight folk did book the flight and that was the plane full! Maybe we'll take the ferry tomorrow?

No regrets though - Ronas Hill and the views were fantastic.

Cooking up my reestit mutton tonight.
