leaving pak chong
not a beautiful shot by any means, but i wasn't afforded much free time today. quick snap taken at the train crossing leaving pak chong. not a pro photographer by any means, nor do i usually shoot people, so this was a relatively new experience. just to be safe, the man with the camera phone snapped one of me as well - maybe another blipper.
pak chong is still one of those places where it's a treat to see farang (foreigners) - it's not completely isolated but just a bit more quiet - a definite difference from the hustle and bustle of bangkok. i've heard there's a new water park there that's doing heaps of business though, so look out krung thep!
everyone on the ride home was in relatively good spirits, this because of the labour day holiday tomorrow. since i happen to be stuck here as well, i'm headed to krabi for a couple of days for what i hope will be a nice first visit. it's not the ideal time of year, especially with the rains coming so early this year, but it should no doubt be a good departure from work for a little while.
