tracks of life

coming down

a quick view on the drive back from flagstaff to phoenix. since we arrived to phoenix at night earlier in the week, we missed out. the drive back of course made up for it.

such a quick descent from 7000 feet above sea level brought quite a change in the plant life that surrounded us. first it was tall pine trees, changing to shorter trees, and then to almost shrubs, with cactus starting to appear, until finally we began to see the symbol of the southwest again, the saguaro cactus.

along with the plant life came a rather quick increase in temperature as well. so we spent the warm night in tempe, enjoying a nice meal, and relaxing a bit after such a busy week. flight home tomorrow, and to the uk next week.
