Grasses!

I'm totally captivated by the various grasses around here and the way the light plays on them, especially at this time of the evening! I headed out to explore my blip potentials, around 5.30pm....not feeling too inspired....there are the lovely mallow flowers in the late sunlight....and the wood on the addition is interesting! Heading down to my favorite spot, by the pond, the light and reflections on the water were enticing...but i wasn't feeling like i was in the zone so to speak! then i pointed the camera at the long grasses as they moved and danced in the wind....thro the viewfinder i could see the potential for some interesting subjects! 60 or so images later......playing with the shapes created by the crossed grass stems.....moving around to see what different backgrounds did!

This is what i love about being commited to taking a stab at creating an image each day...sometimes you get something you find intriguing and sometimes there's nothing!

Another busy in the studio....heading towards a couple of kiln firings this weekend....and the possibility of full shelves once again....i love it!
