Velton bartender, photographer, farmer and writer

Tonight the city of Fort Worth had Rockin' the Trinity. It was a time of tubing, tunes and sunning one's buns.

I met Velton. We have been friends since I move downtown. We met at Malone's Pub, a watering hole a few blocks from my condo. Velton is a man of many talents. He is a bartender studying to be a sommelier. He also is a photographer who takes hundreds of group shots of folks at local bars for one of the weekly papers. Lately he has begun to write articles for the CBS affiliate. He also loves to grow fresh veggies. This year he ran into some trouble. After investing hundreds of dollars and many, many hours of hard work into a garden, cows entered a gate that had been left open and consumed the entire crop. Right down to the ground.
