DHL
Sorry, crap photo tonight. This is the tweeter on my one of my new speakers. I got them off ebay for ana absolute song. There is a little superficial marking (some of it can be seen here) but nothing that affects the sound.
I had to get a second set once I was given the decks as it's almost impossible to mix through the ting wee sub fifty quid stereo we have in the dining room. I have an old amp I can dust off but no secondary speakers. These are smaller than the ones I had so I'll put them in the living room and hopefully spare the neighbours a bit and teh big ones can go on the opposite side of the house where the decks are.
Anyway it was a surprise them arriving today. They were sent next day with DHL on Tuesday. When I called to do tracking yesterday they said nothing had been sent out as they only had two of the three boxes and it would probably be sent today. Anyway, when I finally got their online tracking working it said that one box had been delivered. They had a signatory named so I realised the box had been delivered next door. I nipped next door to collect the stands but not the actual speakers.
This morning, on the advice of the person I spoke to yesterday, I called back to find out about delivery and was told that the vans had gone out but my speakers weren't on them as they only had 2 out of three packages. Yes I said, that's because you delivered the third one to my neighbour yesterday without putting a card through my door. After a bit of checking I was told I was right enough (which I already knew) but that nothing could be done today as the vans were out and they'd get them delivered tomorrow. I told teh woman that we were only in for the morning tomorrow then were going away for the long weekend. She said I could pick them up instead if I liked and when I said that was ok she said she'd mark them for collection and that was the end of it...
Or so I thought. At about nine tonight we got a knock on the door and it was Dave from next door with his daughter, the two of them were carrying my speakers. Again they'd been delivered next door and again I hadn't had a card through my door to tell me what had happened.
I've a good mind to deny all knowledge of them arriving.
