Grass of Parnassus

Left the car at Bankfoot (north of Perth) and cycled about 7 miles to Little Glenshee. Left bikes and walked about 7 miles through purple moors with wide and pleasant views, pass a small loch an dback to the bikes, then another 10 miles back to Bankfoot.
These lovely flowers aren't rare but not common either, and they like damp places. There was just a small patch and I had to stand in the ditch to get the pic.
If it hadn't been for these my choice would probably have been the first of the 2 seen here the other showing what the subsidy greedy people are doing to spoil the landscape
