Late Brood

2 of the Swallow nests in the stable are currently occupied by late broods. I managed to get this shot of the occupants of one nest using a stepladder, my monopod extended fully (above eye-level - well I am only 5'3") and prayer! The young in the other nest are just about ready to leave and exited-stage-left as soon as I went in. One parent however decided to settle on the ledge at the top of the back wall and I managed a pic of him/her from the same step-ladder.
