Ticking Away the Moments

This was nearly yet another rugby blip today, as we've been at Sixways all afternoon. It was a free open day, with the Ireland v England match showing in the bars followed by a friendly game against Cornish Pirates.

England game was good (9 - 20 to England) but the least said about the Worcester Warriors game the better. Lots of basic errors, poor passing, missed tackles. Final score was 21 - 24 to the Pirates and that score flattered us! It wasn't the 1st choice team by a long way but even so, we should have done better.

Oh well. 1st Premiership game is next Saturday, let's hope we do a bit better than that.

This little patch of flowers were growing in a patch of bare earth just as you come out of the shop, on the way back to the car park and I nearly missed them. But I'm always on the look out for a possible blip and thought they looked lovely and bright.

Oh, nearly forgot, I've found the cure for flu! Amazingly, a Lemsip before bed, followed by a good night's sleep and a lie-in makes all the difference, who would have thought it?!
