Visit to Fowlmere

Had a nice morning walking the nature trail at this RSPB centre - didn't manage to see many birds though! Saw this swan and a couple of cygnets as well. We could hear lots of birds singing as we walked round but not much to be seen from the hides. According to the list on the wall, someone had seen two kingfishers at 10 am but we didn't get there until gone 11 am so we missed them.

Still enjoyed it though, great to get some fresh air and have a walk - it was about two miles round so nice and easy.. Lovely and peaceful too.
