Meeting Peppa

We had just planned a quiet day of housework/organising, but my sister in law texted and reminded us there was a family day on at the local theme park and Peppa Pig was making an appearance. H is Peppa daft, so we decided we would go in the afternoon once she awoke from her nap.

Our departure was delayed slightly when hubby was stung by a bee. He was carrying H on his shoulders so we are glad it was him and not her (sorry dear!) It was actually quite swollen - I am lucky in that I have never been stung yet.

When we got to the park, we met up with H's cousin L and Auntie C. They had been there for an hour waiting on us! H loved meeting Peppa and George, but L was a bit too scared of the larger than life characters so didn't sit with them. She did enjoy the Peppa balloons we bought them both and a balloon fight ensued which cousin L definitely won! Some running around, playing in the sand, an ice-cream and then home for dinner. A lovely day and a nice opportunity for the cousins to spend some time together.
