Clear Up

We decided to take the tree and decorations down today to try and get the house back to some sort of normality. Hubby and I are due back at work tomorrow, (although with my eye infection now spreading to my other eye and my cold still hanging on, I'm not sure that will happen) so we thought that perhaps getting organised today would be best rather than waiting until the weekend.

H helped remove the baubles from the tree - she was definitely better at pulling them off than putting them on. I dread putting the tree up next year though as I think she yanked most of them off and snapped the threads!! As always it looked strangely empty and bare when the tree came down, although the space has been filled with all the toys H got for Christmas so it's not as bare as usual.
