Blushing

HOT is the only description for this day. I had a valid excuse to stay inside all day enjoying the AC, so the several times that I did step out with the pooches, we all made a quick lap around the yard and ducked back inside as quickly as possible. The high temp here today was 103 degrees F.

Several time throughout the day we'd click on the TV to get an update on the East Coast and Hurricane Irene. The coverage is quite overwhelming. We sure hope all blippers in that region are okay.

We barbecued dinner and ate just before dark. When we finished eating and while the pooches were having their dinner, I noticed the sky, so I stepped out the front door and saw the color above Mt. Baldy. It's not a great photo, but it was a beautiful sight . . . one of the moments when you just had to be here, but really, it's too hot to come visit. So wait till it's cooler.
