The Willows Are Back!

It was cold as I walked along the river today, pockets of sun would appear for a few minutes before being taken over by thick grey clouds, a stiff breeze came in difts creating the willows to sway like curtains.

It was noisey as machinery worked further along, some demolishing buildings, some working with the ground and others reconstructing - it all takes time, I can see there will be clouds of dirt as summer approaches, perhaps we'll be pleased to have the sway of curtains from the willows.

My mood went with the day, feeling as though I'm not yet out of the woods with this flu, leaving me tired and lifeless. Most of our house is now packed up, china wrapped and put away, wardrobes emptied and some furniture has been moved, the vacum cleaner just doesn't make it back to its cupboard, tomorrow will see the electronics disconnected and Daughter E's bedroom emptied and then we'll be ready for the new carpet on Wednesday.

It was good to see that The Willows Are Back hinting that Spring is not far away :)
