Today's the day ....................... to feel hard done by

Having to work on a Bank Holiday always makes me feel hard done by - specially when it's a Monday, because I don't normally ever work on a Monday. It's going to take me all week to work out what day it is?!

The only nice thing was to come home at the end of it and smell the evening meal as soon as I came in the door. Son Tim cooked the meal tonight - one of his specialities - a chinese chicken dish with honey and cashew nuts, served with noodles.

It made the day suddenly seem worthwhile .........................
