Down the road

Yippeee the bank holiday is almost over! I realise I'll be in the minority, but running a guest house means BUSY, not relaxing. I could definitely do with a mini break myself.

Had a fun day all the same, punctuated with a bit of whingeing from everyone at points here and there....
- gazillion cooked breakfasts
- mountain of washing up
- walk with the kids in the woods while Sam was on bedroom duty (not as pleasurable as it sounds)
- biking in the park with J+J+J
- Not particularly fast food in Mc D's
- cookie baking
- illustrating of the morning's activities with new stationery sets
- run
- erdinger and singapore noodle type dinner
- apple picking and blackberry plucking by the kids
- peeling, chopping, stewing
- collapsing in heap
