CzechWrecks 2011 Day 1

This car stands out today on CzechWrecks.

It's an MGB of course, painted as a tiger. Obviously. It's occupants are also dressed as tigers or as my co-pilot thought - teddy bears. Apparently tigers have pointy ears and their costumes had furry ears. He needs help and we've offered to pay. Won't pay much of course, and therapy will be along the lines of hitting with a stick until he agrees that they are dressed as tigers.

But I digress.

This is a car thats stood for a long time, and even a few days ago had not travelled very far over the last few years. Just getting to Dover yesterday was it's longest journey in years.

As a running MGB I'm told it's value has greatly increased since it's barn days. So I'm guessing that they've painted it because it'll either get scrapped for parts (unlikely considering the value is in a new MOT) or that it'll get passed to someone for a complete resto.

It's also one of those cars that regardless of condition, if it makes it to Prague and the team want to scrap/sell it, there will be no shortage of volunteers to repatriate it. Even if it means towing it 900 miles home. But I doubt it'll be scrapped under any circumstances (in Europe at least).
