Temple Street

Don't know why it took so long, but today is my first (of many I'm sure) blip from Chinatown.

It was a public holiday in Singapore and the kids decreed it a "Dad Day" after I re-plumbed the Wii this morning. So we took a stroll round the fish market (having to leave quickly after Grant realised the frogs were for eating, not keeping as pets) and the fruit and vegs stalls (picking up some spices on the way).

We then had a steamboat lunch for the first time, which was good fun but messy; we're all too inept with chop sticks to get the various morsels in and out the bubbling broth.

Should just have enough time for a quick swim and another bite to eat before I catch the flight to Scotland; different style blip tomorrow!
