Took the children crab fishing this morning. Once again no crabs were caught but as I was pulling my line in to pack away I thought it felt a bit heavy and found that I had a skipper fish on the end. Called the children over to have a look, realised I had already tipped out the bucket of water and then realised I had to get this off the hook!!!! Called to a poor unsuspecting man and his wife and begged his help. After a bit of uncertainty and some ribbing from his wife he did manage to unhook it and set it free. Told the children we are never going without Daddy ever again!!!!
The tide was then heading out so we went down onto the beach and small rocks and did then manage to find 2 crabs and lots of limpets and winkles. Had a great time and it was nice to have a bit of outside exploring time.

Micha still here with us so Jack and Erin are very excited especially as she may be staying another night.
