Tuesday was Prisoner and Jasmine night. A couple of friends and I have been working our way through Prisoner Cell Block H DVDs for a while now and occasionally we use it as the perfect excuse for treating ourselves to a Chinese take-it-away from the Jasmine on Grindlay Street. We're now on episode 60-something out of 692 episodes. Wowee! That translates as the third box-set in the metric system.

Prisoner has a bit of a reputation for being cheesy rubbish but I have to say that for all that it's utterly compelling viewing. Historically and socially it's very interesting and a lot of the issues highlighted on the show are still very relevant today, over 30 years later!

Plus it's a good laugh and goes wonderfully with chicken and cashew nuts ;o)
