Hers and Mine

I spent all day yesterday at my friend's house in York. She is preparing to move very soon so we were 'sorting' out. Moving is stressful at the best of times but she is very fragile at the moment, both physically and emotionally. We shared a few tears as well as the odd chuckle. I came home with crates of books for 'the shop' and we are gradually reducing the amount of no longer wanted 'stuff'.
It was early evening when I got back and after a quick plate of scrambled egg I couldn't wait to flop into my seat with Bracken. We occupy this settee and the one opposite is Mike's and Diesel's when he cares to join us. As Mike puts it, theirs is the alpha male side!
