Hide and seek

I did get to the beach but took the dogs. Disaster. Running away from me, totally excited to be out and about. All the images out of focus...

I was going to give up and decided upon a night-time wander around the yard in search of spiders. Wow, what a selection. I am thinking about looking them up because there are some obscure ones.

I got a slightly out of focus shot of this vivid green spider hanging around spinning a web. I then found it in it's protective web spun over a leaf. Such a great colour but hard to get holding a torch in one hand to provide focus light, then balancing my camera in the other spare hand.

I will be back out there trying to get some more another time.
