Scarlet Beauty

This beautiful tree caught my eye today as we drove to school. I saw one the other day and added it to my Blip list. The red cluster flowers are so attractive, especially against the backdrop of the blue morning sky. It is actually a kaffir boom or Coral Tree. These scarlet flowers are its spring blossoms.

Back at school today busy getting everything organised before the children start. I was woken up at 3am by a car alarm and couldn't fall asleep again, so I spent the day feeling tired. K came in with me today as he has some Winter School classes. (He writes CIE exams in October.)

I am preparing roast chicken for supper tonight and I am planning on us having an early supper. I need to get to sleep really soon!

Today marks my first full calendar month on Blip. All the blocks are filled in and it feels really good - yippee!
