Nightwatcher

he cannot be seen
he glides among the trees
he never comes out
when light comes he flees

he is always in my thoughts
as I look upon the night sky
I wonder what he did
when his parents died

as part of the legend
of this hero of heroes
his parents died
and left him bills with a lot of zero's

He built a mansion
and it was burnt down
he lost his wealth
and he left home-bound

He went searching for any family
he might've once had
but in searching he learned of his horrible past
he learned about his mom and dad

They went out walking and left their child with the butler
in the midst of the night
and they never came back
in the morning there was a horrible sight

So that's the story of the nightwatcher
did he ever meet up with his butler again
nobody knows how the story goes past the death
but now you may see him watching in the night, waiting with baited breath
