Day twelve: the aliens have landed!

Ok, so not really. But every fall in Mississippi, I am always mesmerized by these huge fruits that land with a startlingly loud thud. They are so surreal and out-of-this-world looking. Their names? These softball-sized guys go by several different names, including horse apple, hedge apple, osage orange, and bodock.

So, how do these creepy-looking apples relate to wholeness? Not a clue other than they instill a sense of childlike wonder in me. So here's to the inner child in all of us. :) Have a great Friday, everybody!
