Black Bumble and thistle

How dumb - I missed realising it was my blip birthday and am overwhelmed with all the comments yesterday. I will get around to acknowledging them when I return home but am using my friend's laptop and can't play with my images as I should like. Thank you all so much - it has been an extraordinary year for lots of reasons but blipping has given me a new horizon (thank you Dups for the introduction).

Yesterday's blip was a male milkweed beetle
