A Ramblers Tale

Sunrise

It was freezing this morning, can I just say that. My mom and I stumbled out of our 'Cottage' at 6:20 this morning, me in my brand new black "grand Teton national park" sweats and Yellowstone Hoodie, hood up (its freezing here ok?) and headed to the lodge. We got a cup of something warm and took pictures. The sun rose promptly at 6:49 and began accenting the peaks. It was beautifully breathtaking.

Sunrise. A new day. A new perspective.
(instead I feel the haunting of the memories)
A touch of your lips on my forehead.
( the memories of you, that I tried to forget)
It hurts to much.
(but in the quiet my heart speaks so loudly I cannot ignore it)
Maybe I can hide in the mountains and be a hermit.
[But I'm learning that pain, mistakes and loss; teach]
(they teach me lessons of life.)
Sunrise, a new day.
