Fennel

On the allotment, nothing halts the growth of green things!

Obviously, some are what we planted!

Here is our fennel. Very tasty!

We spent the morning driving to a local rescue centre looking for a dog.

The place had lots of dogs who were very vocal as they asked us to free them from their care induced prison. It's very sad, so many beautiful animals with no home to go to. No matter how well cared for they are in the centre it's not the same as a family fireside.

Anyway, fingers crossed we are going to collect our new canine chum on Wednesday, when the vet has given her the once over. We already spent a small fortune on her at the petshop!
