Sleepy green

So there I was

Digging the ground

Pulling the weeds and

levelling down

I noticed these chaps

curled in the muck

and as the light hit them

they visibly shook

Then off the marched

avoiding each other

over the clods

looking for cover.

well I don't know

so you'll have to tell me

when they grow up

what will they be?
