One Day I Did

After my last weeks Blip, I went to see "one Day" at the cinema this evening............and I'm so glad I did. It was a good adaptation. Dexters decline wasn't as gritty as in the book and Emma's accent was inconsistantly northern (I think) but she was cooky and adorable as I'd pictured. The boyfriend, Ian Whitehead wouldn't look out of place in Little Britain, when you watch it, you'll know why......
I went with my friend who hasn't read the book and she enjoyed it too, for what it was, a charming romantic tragic heart-warming witty film with believable charactors that aren't perfect.............apart from Ann Hathaway in the blue dress and cropped hair........ Devine x
