Golden memories

Today was a special day at church. Two of our members celebrated their Golden Wedding on August 26th and celebrated it with us all today. Brenda had made this glorious flower arrangement. After the service over 50 of us shared lunch together.

As a couple they have done a tremendous amount for the church. He was actually the Minister for several years and she is the church secretary.

50 years ago as they began their married life they also began their lives as Minister and Minister's wife. John has just completed 50 years as a Minister.

Many memories, many friends made in places all round the country, many lives touched by their sincerity and faith.

And they still clearly love each other very much.

It's my parents' Golden Wedding later this month.
