Although today I played my music in my car in a fine drizzle. It was either this or American Pie as inspiration and I didn't fancy driving my chevy to the levy (or my vee dub to the theme pub).

Anyone else get a little lump in their throat when Don McLean goes all quiet and whispery at the end of the song? For those (two of you) who don't know 'the day the music died' refers to that plane crash in the 50's that killed Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper and Buddy Holly. I actually have some Buddy Holly on at the moment in my car as well. I've tipped my hat here towards late 90's jeans adverts and the man who is so easily imitated with a pair of thick rimmed glasses.
