365 Grateful Project_Day 23
The whole is greater than the sum of its part.
I have suddenly become engrossed in finishing the novel Flipped after I have seen the movie adaptation. For those who are still clueless, the story discusses alternating views of the two main teen characters about their lives which tackle family, relationships, teenage issues, and eventually their discovering of special feelings towards each other all in the context of growing up. I find the story charming and cute.
One of the topics I like the most is the discussion between the father and the main girl character about seeing things in general. The father was explaining that the whole is greater than the sum of its part and most of the time it is all about proper lighting, being him as a painter. And things can be confusing when taken out of context.
As I was walking on my way home I tried looking upward and check what is it from above that is worth blipping. Then I noticed this -- a frame of the leaves, the sky, and the clouds stained with sunset hues. They just look perfectly together.
