A few birthdays ago (four to be precise) I asked for a Will making kit. I knew that I'd never gotten round to filling it in so it was added to my 40 before 40 list. In the post today I received a copy of my Personal Benefit Statement for my company pension; it came with a Death Benefit Nomination form too. I've not amended mine since I joined the pension in 1997 so I guess it's high time that I amended it. So now the form is filled in & I've found where I?d hidden the Will forms too.

I was intrigued why the pension form states I can retire on my 65th Birthday when the government web site says that I have 27 years and 12 days till I can retire, which would be my 67th birthday. Who knows what retirement age will actually be by the time I get there.
