Flying a kite is hard work, it makes your shoulders and biceps ache. Flying a kite one-handed so you can photograph it flying is damn near impossible. Kite flying did not appear on my original 40 before 40 list, but during a conversation at work last week a colleague said he'd tried it recently & recommended it.

The weather has been very Autumn like all day with the wind blowing well. Typically it wasn't so breezy when I went into Castle Hill Park this evening but I thought I'd better try to fly it whilst it wasn't rainy.

After my poor outdoor photography attempts, I relied on my macro lens and my editing to come up with this image.
