Calibration

Was at woodwork class last night (backblip).

Today, at work, I had to do some sanding of a triangular clock base, and noticed that GCP's sander has an angled scale but that it didn't read true. Maybe 2 degrees off. So, working with a lovely piece of oak, recycled from Tranent Parish Church, I was able to calibrate our Axminster oscillating belt sander. Keep sanding the wood and adjusting the angle until the three sides are sanding flat; then you know it's at 60 degrees.

Geometry => Nice piece of oak => Calibration of £1200 machine
