Birthday at The Black Lion

Today is Mike's birthday and I booked us into The Black Lion for a meal. We usually come here for celebratory meals it's a super venue in the middle of Thirsk. The meal was great and I picked up the tab and drove us home! The birthday boy was not happy about the photos I took and refused to sanction them for a blip - they weren't flattering enough! What do you expect Mike when you reach **!!! However, the interior of the pub is very photogenic so I am happy to post this little corner close to where we were sitting. I love blue and white ware and it is displayed beautifully throughout. The rest of the decor is equally tasty!
