Intent

(eleven weeks)

I was trying to show off River's woolly hat, which I think is a very stylish hat, but in the end I didn't get much of it in frame as you can see.

River has a tendency to stare untiringly at me, which is at once sweet and unnerving. One time she was doing this staring thing on the bus and we overheard someone commenting that she 'knows who her big brother (sic*) is'.



*Sister, in point of fact.
