Skateboard graveyard

Off the Hungerford Bridge in London is this huge concrete base upon which sits the bridge. It seems to be the graveyard of dead and damaged skateboards. There are a lot more bits than this detailed section, but I quite liked the fact that someone decided it was a good idea to throw a pair of shoes over the pole as well. I wasn't the only person intrigued by it all. Both sides of me, tourists were busy snapping away as well.

While, on the DIY front, after having lunch with my wife in London, I returned to sand down, stain and varnish the window sill at the top of our stairs. The cold has almost gone.
