Big School

So Lewis started high school today. As soon as he put on the uniform, he looked very grown-up. He did make me laugh by running to the mirror and saying that the shoulders of his school blazer made him look like Hilary Devey from Dragon's Den!! I had time to snap two very quick photos of him. Even the weather girl is gobsmacked that Lewis is off to big school!! Then he was out and off to the bus stop. It was pouring down but he wouldn't wear a waterproof jacket so I told him to stand under the girl's umbrellas...which he did!

He seemed quite pleased when he got home. He said that he likes going on the bus because they all have a laugh. I can imagine it's more like a riot and I pity the poor bus driver. He said that one of his friends had gone to pull a bus ticket and had pulled a whole trail of them, by accident, which they then attacked each other with!! I thought school was all about getting an education!? He's in a form group with one of his friends so he seems fine. Phew. Big relief!! Another rite of passage ticked.
