Back To School

It has seemed a looooong holiday. The weather has been hit and miss throughout and I think, secretly, that Jed and Rowan are glad to be going back to school. Jed was up early, had a shower in under a minute, wolfed his breakfast down and then was asking: "Is it time to go?" an hour before it was. Rowan wasn't quite so keen, dawdled a little on the walk down but he seemed fine. It poured down and they were let in school before the bell.

Lewis has another day of freedom today which we have spent searching for a waterproof school coat, having dinner in Subway and then buying his bus ticket for tomorrow. He's also seen a friend today and they have been discussing when to meet at the bus stop tomorrow. The sooner they get the hang of this bus thing, the better!!
