Originally my 40 before 40 task today was going to be to stay up all night & then tomorrow was to photograph a sunrise, but I'm tired & there is drizzle forecast for tomorrow morning, so I needed a Plan B.

After dinner with my family I was touting for ideas. I really wanted to play 'bogies' but we were in my sisters pub & she's only been there two weeks so I decided against it. My dad suggested I attempt a Times crossword. So I did, I attempted it and I failed. Miserably.

So, in order to complete it I 'used my initiative' and found Times for the Times which helped me with all but two off the answers & then I solved those two all by myself
