Tired but happy
This is a very exhausted Ben who'd just been bombing through the trees and chasing various moving things in the distance. He's a labradollie who came to us purely by chance when we were debating what sort of dog to get to replace Dizzy who'd had to be rehomed after taking an intense dislike to my 2 toddlers. Ben came as a foster dog 2 years ago on December the 4th and in a short while proved himself to be the perfect family pet. He is everybodys best friend and permanently has a huge smile on his face and has boundless energy so is more than prepared to go on as many walks a day as we'll offer him...and wants to play lots of ball games in between.
He has recently been recruited in my quest to lose weight giving me a golden opportunity to walk all those unwanted lb's off. Obviously he proved a willing recruit but today I think we beat him....he slept all afternoon and didn't even get up when someone walked in the door...although he did offer a paw without even lifting his head up. He'll still be up and ready for the walk to the scout hut later though...Adams first session at scouts is tonight.
J wasn't so keen to go to school this morning and sobbed and begged to be allowed home. Being the hardened Mum I am I passed him over to his teacher and exited as quickly as possible...I was a leetle close to tears though. It's hard when it's your baby....but the long walk with Ben soon made me feel better though.
