Closing Party

This evening I went to Six Mary's Place for the closing party. It has been run as a guest house by Forth Sector for many years, providing work placements for people recovering from poor mental health to help them get back into the job market. A lot of great work has been done here, and it has benefitted a lot of people.

Sadly the strategy of the organisation (which I volunteer as a director for) requires that this business closes, to make way for bigger projects that can support even greater numbers of service users. Tonight was a farewell party, bringing together people from across the whole organisation. A celebration of the good work done here.
