Winter Walk

This is a small oil painting I did yesterday in Open Studio. It is 8 inches by 10 inches in size. This painting is one of a series I'm doing with a different style than my usual. I'm experimenting with a new way of painting. It is more abstract than many of my previous paintings and involves thicker paint. So far I'm enjoying the new approach. In the large version you can really see the paint on this small painting.
