QuackQuack

A rather damp day today which we spent in a little town called Warburton. We started off with a lovely hot chocolate (cappuccino for the gent) and crumpets (ham and cheese croissant for the man) and then went for a slow amble along the river, stopping every now and again under a tree when the rain started it's pitter pattering. The ducks seemed to love it though, they were Quacking at us most of the way.

On our way back to where we're staying we stopped off at a patchwork and tea shop called The Patchwork Tea House. Lots of lovely fabrics and we managed a delicious afternoon tea with freshly made (warm) scones, jam and cream. Yum yum yum.

A day well spent, even if the weather was less that desirable.
