Alternate bike ride day

Woke up this morning at 6 a.m. dreading going on the Cowtown Classic. So I didn't go. Instead went back to sleep. Then got up and rode with my wife, Debbie. We didn't ride 62 miles, but we did ride 10+ miles. Stopped for lunch and a pint at the Flying Saucer at the beginning. At the end, we stopped at Frankie's Sports Bar for a celebratory pint. Not as grueling as 62 miles but at least as much fun.

On our ride, we saw the newest attraction in Fort Worth - the Wake Boarding pool. The guy in the blip is wake boarding. Notice the tow line extending up. They have a series of lines connected to the main tow system. It seemed that four or five folks can get pulled around at the same time. My cheapie ride camera was not the correct camera to capture the action. I will be going back with my Nikon to get a better series.

Tomorrow after church, Debbie and I will be out riding again. The tomorrow night I will be riding the Night Riders. Feels like it is a good low key spouse filled weekend.
